Amb. Mary Muthoni Gichohi

Ms. Gichohi is a former Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to the Peoples Republic of China. She has a
cross section of expertise and skills built in excess of 35 years as a diplomat, legal professional and
industry leader with diverse stakeholders in Public and Private Corporations, Government and Social
Enterprises.
A trained mediator, Ms Gichohi is a resourceful and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills
with a natural affinity for cultivating relationships, persuading, convening, facilitating and building
consensus in diverse multi-cultural and multi – disciplinary environments which served her well in her
career as a diplomat.
She is the Founding Partner and has global experience in transacting and negotiating complex contracts
and commercial transactions, PPP projects and infrastructure, banking securities, and advisory on all
aspects of real estate acquisition and development and including joint venture arrangements.
During her outstanding career, Ms Gichohi previously worked as a State Counsel in the Office of the
Attorney General of Kenya and also held Legal and Company Secretarial Positions in the Corporate sector.
Ms. Gichohi’s professional qualifications and accreditations include:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) – University of Nairobi.
• Diploma in Law (Dip. Law) – The Kenya School of Law.
• Advocate of the High Court of Kenya – Law Society of Kenya (LSK).
